Nissan LEAF

“Gas Powered Everything”

What if everything in our lives ran on gas instead of electricity? That’s the premise of this campaign. The :60 TV spot made Nissan a trending topic on Twitter and Google the night it aired during the NBA Finals, and gained nearly 2 million views on YouTube over the next two months. Adweek named it one of the 10 best commercials of 2011, and it won a Cannes Lion for Film Craft in Art Direction.

Acura

Brand Launch

After years without a clearly articulated voice, it was time for Acura to plant a flag and tell the world what it stands for.

Dylan had just spent months embedded with the team that designed and engineered the NSX, interviewing them at the R&D center in Ohio and following test engineers across the country as they drove the NSX on real roads for the first time. That gave him a strong sense of Acura’s culture and spirit, and the clearest way to tell that story was to say it plainly: this is our point of view.

Brand Launch: “Let’s Go Places”

About once a decade, car companies update their taglines. In 2012, after a few rough years, Toyota decided it needed a fresh start. After months of work, the team arrived at a simple truth: Let’s Go Places. This is the anthem spot that launched the campaign and the next chapter for the world’s largest automaker.
