Dylan Schwartz
Dylan Schwartz is a cross-disciplined Creative Director, Photographer, Director, Technologist and Social Influencer. By combining these skills he’s redefining what it means to be a creative.
Before founding kissd, Dylan was the VP, Director of Creative & Content at MullenLowe LA. There he rewrote the book on Acura, giving the brand a new confident voice, along with a look and feel that put it at the forefront of its category for maybe the first time ever. He also helped re-define the world's largest Tequila brand, Patron. By serving as Creative Director and Photographer on both brands, he was able to push them into new, brave, and authentic territories.
Dylan is a media innovator. He created the first social car configurator for Toyota by partnering Google and Toyota to create the “Collaborator.” It was featured by the NY Times and Fast Company.
For Nissan, he created the world’s first iAd in collaboration with Apple, which was chosen and demoed by Steve Jobs at WWDC 2010.
As a Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi he led a large team of creatives to completely redesign the world’s largest automotive website, Toyota.com. He also helped form the agency’s social media practice, and lead the effort to launch Toyota’s new tag line and brand direction in 2013.
At Chiat/Day he created the “Gas-Powered Everything” campaign, which earned a Cannes Lion, Clio, and was voted by AdWeek as one of the 10 best commercials of the year.
He has a history of breakthrough and award-winning work for brands, including Acura, Toyota, Sony, Google, YouTube, HBO, Nissan, Coldplay, Patron, Interscope Records, Capitol Records, Tim Burton, Infiniti, Scion, Activision, FOX, Warner Bros., and Harley-Davidson.
Dylan is also an accomplished photographer. His work has been featured by Instagram, TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Vulture, The Daily Mail, The Huffington Post, Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, and Colossal.
He’s a brand ambassador for Sony Cameras, and a member of the Los Angeles Mayor’s Photo Corp. Over the last few years, he has built an engaged social media audience of over 85k followers.
As an influencer, Dylan has been able to connect his audience to some amazing brands like Sony, Austrian Airlines, Google, L.A. Board of Tourism, L.A. Mayor’s Office, Starwood Hotels, Apple Music, Interscope Records, Capitol Records, Einstok Beer, Patron, Budweiser, and Acura.
